About Lindsey

Hi there, I’m glad you are here! Here is a little bit more about me:
I earned my undergraduate degree from South Dakota State University and went on to
complete my master’s degree at the University of South Dakota. I later obtained my PIP license,
allowing me to practice independently and provide comprehensive care to my clients.
My background includes experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings as a medical
social worker, where I supported individuals and family through a wide range of emotional and
medical challenges. These experiences have shaped my compassionate, flexible approach to
therapy.

I utilize play based interventions alongside evidence-based approaches including Cognitive
Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance Commitment
Therapy (ACT), tailoring each approach to meet you or your child’s unique needs and goals.

I enjoy working with children ages 3-12, using play-based interventions to support behavioral
concerns, life transitions, and the development of social skills. I also work with adults navigating
challenges such as anxiety, depression, grief, stress, major life changes, and infertility.

I believe in meeting each person where they are emotionally and working collaboratively to
create a personalized plan that aligns with their goals. My aim is to provide a supportive,
nonjudgemental space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered.

I would love to connect with you and walk alongside you as you begin this journey – call me at (605)231-8387.
